Deck & Fence Painting
What to Expect
Protect and beautify your outdoor wood — decks, fences, pergolas, and railings finished to stand up to Colorado altitude and weather.
We stain, paint, and seal decks, fences, pergolas, gazebos, and railings. Every job starts with cleaning and brightening the wood, sanding splinters and rough spots, and replacing any rotted boards before applying penetrating stains or protective sealers.
A standard deck takes two to three days; a fence runs about a day per 100 feet. We schedule around dry-weather windows and let each coat cure properly — rushing cure time in Colorado's dry air is the most common reason deck finishes fail early.
We use penetrating oil-based stains from Cabot and TWP for natural-wood looks, and solid-color acrylic stains from Sherwin-Williams when you want opaque coverage. At altitude, UV breaks down wood fibers fast — so we recommend resealing decks every 2–3 years and fences every 4–5 years.
